Senator Rukayyat Gbemisola Saraki officially became a member of the Peoples Democratic Party after taking part in the ongoing registration exercise in her state.
She registered as a PDP member at her Ajikobi Central ward with registration number 860453.After her registration,Saraki stated that PDP was not a wounded party in the state as being insinuated in some quaters“A wounded lion is an angry lion and we are not wounded, we know where we are”, Saraki stated.
She also hailed the PDP as the party for Kwarans going by the heavy turnout of people for the exercise.She said, “We have to remain steadfast and peaceful, it is very important to be peaceful because a wounded lion is an angry lion and we are not wounded, we know where we are. So the best thing is to be peaceful, we know we have no rancour, if we know we have no rancour which we don’t, it doesn’t matter what they say.”
