Troops Kill More Insurgents


Barely few days after the military moved into Nasarawa,Benue and Plateau states in order to eradicate criminal gangs that have been killing innocent citizens,results are already being achieved.
More than 30 insurgents were killing during a military raid on terrorists hidout in Nasarawa State yesterday.The soldiers allegedly acting on a tip-off drove to the hideouts of the insurgents and launched an attack on them.Their bodies have been moved to the mortuary.
In a statement by the Director of Defence Information,Maj-Gen Chris Olukolade,he said: “2 AK 47 rifles were recovered after an encounter with troops of Special Task Force and the armed gangs in their enclaves in Shimanker in Plateau State.”
He further stated that, “in Kaduna State, militants camps in Ladduga near Kachia were destroyed while arms were equally recovered in Maigungume Hills in Niger State.”
