The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
yesterday commended President Goodluck Jonathan for his commitment
towards commencement of work on the Second Niger Bridge.
PDP in a statement by its national
publicty secretary, Olisa Metuh, said the bridge when completed, will
boost commercial and social activities while broadening the horizon for
business partnerships to promote massive job and wealth creation in the
country.
The party said the resolve by the President to ensure the completion of the bridge in record time was instructive towards uniting the nation.
Noting that the President’s commitment towards transforming the nation has remained unprecedented, the party urged not to relent in his focus towards developing critical sectors of the economy.
