President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday visited Hajia Aya Dada, mother of late President Umaru Yar’Adua.The President was accompanied by governor Ibrahim Shema of Katsina State.
President Jonathan was received by Alhaji Mustapha, the younger brother of the late President who then led him to their mother.
The President knelt down before Hajia Aya Dada to recieve her blessings after an introduction by the governor.
Yar'adua died in office and President Jonathan who was his vice took over according to the provisions of the constitution.The President thereafter contested in 2011 and won.
