Following the stampede which occured in various recruitment centres yesterday during the Immigration recruitment exercise,leading to the death of some applicants,the People's Democratic Party has sent its condolence to varioius families that lost loved ones during the incident.
This was contained in a statement released on saturday by the National Publicity Secretary of the party,Chief Olisa Metuh.He also called on the relevant government agencies to swing into action in order to unravel the causes of the stampede.Mr Metuh called on politicians,party members and government parastatals not to relent in thier efforts in making sure the issue of unemployment is properly tackled.
