President Goodluck Jonathan who is on a state visit to Namibia has declared that Nigeria was not as corrupt as as celebrated.The President who stated this at a meeting with the Nigerian community in Namibia said corruption in Nigeria was simply being blown out of proportion and the image of Nigeria has been affected by this.
"Corruption is everywhere,but it is over-celebrated in the country to the extent that the nation and its people were stigmatised",the President said.He also said his administration has been strenghtening the right institutions in order to rid the country of corruption.
