According to reports by Daily Trust,The Ministry of Petroleum Resources has
denied misappropriating any amount from the N500 million meant to drum
support for the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB).
The ministry also denied media reports that it could not explain how the money was expended.
Speaking before the House of Representatives Committee on Public Accounts, the permanent secretary in the ministry, Danladi Kifasi said it was not true that he could not give adequate account of how the money was spent.
