President Goodluck Jonathan has performed the the groundbreaking ceremony of the 2nd Niger Bridge.The ceremonyn took place in Atani,near Onitsha.The President commended the people of the South-East and South-South for their patience over the delays in the construction of the brigde.He said"My sincere promise during my campaign is today made a reality to the good people of the South-East and South-South".
The President also said"The construction of the second bridge across River Benue is going on smoothly and this one will follow suit immediately from now.This bridge when completed will alleviate the movement difficulties of our people and increase commerce and trade of our people,especially congestion needed during festive seasons".
By doing this,the President has broken another jinx.Congrats The Builder
