According to Daily Trust,President Goodluck Jonathan has embarked on a two-day visit to Katsina State.
He is scheduled to commission the new Government House and a ring road in the state capital.
Jonathan will inspect several ongoing projects in the state including a youth craft village, the Rimi Wind Mill, the Karkanda Stadium, the Federal University, the Katsina Fonghai Initiative, Zobbe Dam and the People's Democratic Party's (PDP's) new secretariat in the state.
The president is also scheduled to pay homage to the Emir of Katsina, Dr Abdulmumini Kabir Usman.
He is expected to return to Abuja tomorrow.
